  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Parent-Child Relationship
  • Self-Esteem
  • Trauma

Play Therapy

I have been a Registered Play Therapist for several years. I have worked with children ages 2 to adolescents.  I am a Registered Play Therapist, and use play therapy to help children express themselves, and to learn new skills and overcome challenges.  I have used play therapy in addition to other therapy modalities to accelerate children's progress.

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.  I use EMDR with children, adolescents, and adults.  EMDR  is used to focus on trauma and attachment concerns, as well as to improve anxiety and self-esteem.

Other Areas of Interest

I am trained in Theraplay, and use this modality to enhance parent-child relationships.  Theraplay is a great way to increase healthy attachment.  I also have experience working with children who struggle with many different types of anxiety, including Selective Mutism and Trichotillomania.
